Online Booking Setup Guide for Admins
Four Steps to a Successful Roll-out
1. Contracting
(~2 weeks)
Your clinic will need a contract with your EMR vendor to use Ocean. Please allow at least 2 weeks to complete this process. If you’re already contracted and using Ocean, you can skip this step.
2. Integration
(~1 day)
You will need to complete your EMR integration. This step typically takes 1-2 hours and can be done by an EMR admin in your clinic. You may also want to schedule a support call to assist in this process.
3. Preparation
(~1 week)
Your clinic will need to work with each individual provider to decide on their booking requirements and preferences, Complete our “Preparing for Online Booking” worksheet in advance.
4. Enablement and Configuration
(~2 hours – Allow 3 weeks to book)
You will need 3 weeks to schedule an orientation session, properly map your provider schedules, and ensure all your users are set up and ready to go.
