How Patient Reminders work
Create unlimited reminders tailored to different visit types, clinician needs, and more. Reminders can include appointment details, pre-visit instructions and links to any forms or surveys for patients to complete.
Patients receive their customized reminder via email and/or SMS text message, including a link to confirm their appointment and complete any forms.
The appointment confirmation is reflected in the EMR schedule. Any completed form results or demographic changes are pushed into the chart without staff intervention.

For example, email reminders for longer appointments with high no-show rates can be supplemented with text, while follow up appointment reminders to complete an experience survey can be email only.
Yes, Patient Reminders can be configured to automatically send messages after an appointment, such as follow-up instructions, experience surveys, and patient-reported experience or outcome measures (PREMs/PROMs).
If the patient reminders are being sent before an appointment, appointment confirmation can be enabled. Once a patient confirms their appointment, the status will be updated in the EMR schedule.
